## Description

GUTS is a dynamic digital feminist magazine and blog that originated in 2013, taking a bold stand against the homogeneity often found in Canadian literature and art. Initially established by a passionate volunteer team, GUTS focuses on amplifying the voices of underrepresented writers and artists, particularly those who identify as women, non-binary, or trans. After a hiatus in 2020, GUTS was revitalized in 2022, embracing an anti-colonial feminist lens in its mission.

With a commitment to fostering critical discourse, GUTS publishes a diverse array of content, including long-form essays, interviews, poetry, fiction, and reviews, all aimed at confronting systemic oppressions and engaging the community. The magazine's ongoing themed issues, like the recent "REVENGE," are overseen by innovative editorial boards that bring fresh perspectives to feminist literature. GUTS remains dedicated to creating a platform for new narratives and open conversations, continuing its legacy as a cornerstone of contemporary feminist thought in Canada.
