## Description

The Groundwater Project is a registered charity in Ontario, Canada, dedicated to making groundwater knowledge understandable and accessible worldwide. Its vision is to build the human capacity needed for the sustainable development and management of groundwater. The organization produces and provides free, high-quality educational materials for readers at all levels, addressing a critical global need: groundwater supplies 99% of the world’s liquid freshwater and is essential in many regions, particularly during drought.

Its resources include books, videos, interactive learning tools, and an online platform for groundwater knowledge. Recent publications cover analytical groundwater modeling, hydrogeology, aquifer systems, contamination, and karst. Books are available for free download and online reading, with volunteer experts supporting translation into 59 languages. The project reports more than three million book downloads and online reads, and a network of over 1,000 volunteers from 70 countries. It also offers opportunities to volunteer, sign up for updates, and support its work through donations and sponsorship.
