## Description

The Global Weather & EAS Society (GWES) is a community and resource hub for people interested in weather, the Emergency Alert System (EAS), and related technologies. Founded in 2015, the organization brings together enthusiasts to learn, share information, and access tools for emergency and weather communications.

Its Central Alert Repository lets users view and listen to EAS alerts from across the country in real time. GWES also operates WeatherRadio, which provides streams from weather radio stations nationwide and invites users to submit streams. For those interested in alerting systems, the site offers information and resources covering EAS and the National Public Alerting System (NPAS), including databases, test details, and audio streams. The GWES EAS Relay Network (ERN) is another part of its work, supported by a dedicated community focused on EAS technology.

GWES connects members through Discord servers, shares updates and guidance through its blog, and develops technology and services for its community.
