## Description

GW JEEL, also known as The George Washington Journal of Energy & Environmental Law, is a renowned publication launched in 2009 by The George Washington University Law School. This journal focuses on the intersections between energy, environmental, and climate law, recognizing their increasing importance in achieving sustainable environmental outcomes. JEEL is published three times a year as a supplement to the Environmental Law Report News & Analysis, a highly esteemed and frequently cited environmental law journal. It is a student-run publication that collaborates with the Environmental Law Institute, allowing it to reach a diverse range of readers, including academics, law firms, and government agencies. Each volume of JEEL features articles, perspective pieces, and student notes that delve into legal and policy issues related to energy and environmental law. JEEL welcomes articles that address a wide range of topics, including renewable energy, utility regulation, smart grid implementation, climate change, air and water pollution, land use, and resource extraction. For more information, interested individuals can contact JEEL at jeel@law.gwu.edu.
