Habele

Habele is a brand committed to supporting Micronesian students and providing them with educational opportunities. Established by former Peace Corps Volunteers, Habele is a 501(3) nonprofit organization that recognizes the unique challenges faced by students living on the remote islands scattered across the vast Western Pacific Ocean.

Each island child, regardless of their isolation, deserves the chance to achieve their full potential. Habele's educational programs aim to prepare these students to not only thrive in their own communities but also succeed beyond the reef.

Through their initiatives, Habele provides scholarships to the lowest-income and most remote students, expanding their access to education. They also offer robotics programs to spark interest in math and science, fostering critical and creative problem-solving skills. Additionally, Habele emphasizes the importance of books, instilling a lifelong love of learning in children.

Diverse in culture and language, Micronesia's far-flung islands play a significant role in the Pacific's geopolitical landscape. However, persistent challenges of isolation, dispersion, and limited resources still persist. Habele is dedicated to addressing these challenges and empowering Micronesian students to reach their full potential.
