Steuben County Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit housing organization that is committed to providing decent, durable shelter to those in need. Founded in 1993, we operate on Christian principles, seeking to demonstrate the love and teachings of Jesus in everything we do. We believe that every individual deserves a simple, affordable place to live in dignity and safety.

Our mission is to eliminate substandard housing locally and globally by constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes. We also advocate for fair and just housing policies, and provide training and resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We focus on building not only homes but also communities and hope.
