Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable homes and building strength, stability, and independence for individuals and families in the Portland region. Since its establishment in 1981, Habitat for Humanity has worked in partnership with over 2,000 people to construct and repair homes. With a mission to triple the number of individuals served each year, they are committed to creating a community where everyone has the opportunity to build a better life.

In January 2021, Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East and Willamette West Habitat for Humanity joined forces to form Habitat for Humanity Portland Region, greatly expanding their impact. As part of a global housing organization, Habitat for Humanity Portland Region is part of a network that operates in all 50 U. S.

Habitat for Humanity Portland Region operates on an open-door policy, welcoming individuals of all races, religions, ages, genders, sexual orientations, and political views to participate in their work.
