HackPGH is a non-profit, community-based workshop that brings together a diverse group of individuals to collaborate and share skills and tools for pursuing creative projects. Our membership is open to everyone, including inventors, engineers, scientists, programmers, hobbyists, artists, roboteers, families, entrepreneurs, arts and crafts enthusiasts, and students. We prioritize collaboration, education, and community outreach, and do not endorse any illegal activities.

The term hacking is used in a positive and constructive sense, as we believe in deconstructing and understanding objects and systems to repurpose existing materials for innovative uses. We regularly host free events that are open to the public, featuring interesting talks and presentations. You can also visit our space for tours on Mondays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, with training on tools and equipment available for new members at 8pm.

Additionally, we have partnerships with outside groups who hold events in our space that are also open to the public.
