## Description

アシスタント背景美塾MAEDAX派 is a Japanese manga education provider founded around practical instruction in backgrounds and perspective, led by manga assistant MAEDAX. It supports aspiring and working creators who want to improve their drawing skills through hands-on, professional-oriented classes, available in person and online. Lessons cover the manga-making process, from storyboarding and panel presentation to inking, tone work, character drawing, and background illustration. Students can also learn digital techniques and tools, particularly Clip Studio Paint, including perspective, 3D materials, and digital background workflows. The school offers classroom courses at its Harajuku location, event and outreach classes, and on-demand video lessons that learners can access remotely. Its broad curriculum also explores color, analog methods, composition, visual storytelling, scripts, creative thinking, and reference research. Courses are taught by MAEDAX and a range of instructors specializing in manga, backgrounds, digital art, and related fields. Through practical demonstrations and focused training, the school aims to make challenging techniques more approachable and help creators develop their craft and the quality of their manga.
