## Description

Haikubox is a brand that has created an AI-enabled device designed to automatically and continuously identify bird sounds. Founded by David Mann, a biologist with a deep passion for birdwatching, Haikubox combines his love for nature and his expertise in animal acoustics. Growing up in Syracuse, NY, David spent countless hours studying and observing birds, which sparked his interest in understanding their unique sounds. Teaming up with his colleague Holger Klinck, Director of the K. Lisa Yang Center for Conservation Bioacoustics at Cornell Lab of Ornithology, they developed Haikubox, an innovative tool for automatically identifying birdsong. This device represents the convergence of years of dedication, scientific research, and technical skill. Haikubox is a groundbreaking solution for bird enthusiasts, researchers, and conservationists who are passionate about understanding and preserving avian life. By capturing and analyzing bird sounds with great accuracy, Haikubox offers a new level of convenience and efficiency in identifying bird species. With Haikubox, the beauty and diversity of birdsong are easily accessible to everyone, making birdwatching even more immersive and enriching.
