## Description

Hailie Nene Foundation NPC is a South African not-for-profit organisation focused on community and social development. Established in 2013 under an earlier company structure, it became a non-profit company to direct its work toward greater benefit for stakeholders, particularly people facing poverty and disadvantage. The foundation describes itself as a community-empowering and online information-sharing platform, aiming not only to provide charitable support but also to encourage sustainable development. Its work centres on relieving hardship among children and communities living in poverty.

The foundation shares information through newsletters and online resources, and provides bursary information to help people explore educational opportunities. Its listed activities include a CAO and NSFAS online application workshop held at Malangeni Library in Umzinto, supporting participants with applications to higher education and student financial aid. The website also features current projects, a personal library, a picture gallery, and information about the foundation’s journey. Hailie Nene Foundation NPC is 100% black-owned, with a board comprising black female and male directors.
