With its headquarters in Mumbai, India, the trust is responsible for the administration and management of the Haji Ali Dargah, which is the tomb of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari (R.A.), the revered patron Saint of Mumbai. Established in 1916 by a group of devoted individuals, the trust was subsequently registered and designated as Haji Ali Dargah Trust with the Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra after India gained independence. The trust's main objective is to ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance of the Dargah and its associated properties.
