## Description

The E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation honors the legacy of Edward Osborne Wilson, a renowned natural scientist, and conservationist. Wilson's groundbreaking work led to the development of the concept of Half-Earth, advocating for the dedication of half the Earth's surface to nature to combat the global extinction threat. Through research and the Half-Earth Project, the foundation maps species distribution to prioritize conservation efforts effectively. Wilson's vision continues to inspire a global movement to protect biodiversity, culminating in the United Nations’ Global Biodiversity Framework. By conserving at least 30% of land and water by 2030, the framework aims to halt species extinction and promote ecosystem restoration. Join the mission to safeguard our planet's diversity by supporting the E.O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation and its impactful initiatives. Together, we can ensure a sustainable future for all species.
