## Description

Half Embalmed is a licensed taxidermy business based in Kansas City, Missouri, specializing in both traditional and unusual approaches to preservation and memorialization. Its services include custom taxidermy commissions, pet preservation and memorialization, fluid-preserved wet specimens, and the cleaning and whitening of skulls and bones using museum-standard methods. The brand also creates wearable taxidermy jewelry and adornments, including pieces made with insects, hair, and other natural curiosities.

Beyond commissioned work, Half Embalmed offers a shop featuring taxidermy, spider webs, bones, wet specimens, jewelry, insects, curiosities, cemetery-themed items, and stickers. The business presents its work as a variety of ways to preserve specimens and create lasting keepsakes. It also hosts educational workshops, including classes focused on bone cleaning and taxidermy, and shares selected works through other locations. Customers can explore its gallery, inquire about custom projects, or contact the business directly. Half Embalmed also provides information through its FAQ and announces upcoming events, classes, and news through a newsletter.
