## Description

Han Mi Martial Arts is a martial arts school in Damascus, Maryland, offering programs for children, teens, adults and families. Its classes combine physical training with practical skills and personal development, emphasizing confidence, respect, discipline and connection. Beginners are welcome, and parents can train alongside their children in several programs.

Courses include Little Dragons for children aged seven and under, Family Taekwondo for ages eight and up, and youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for ages seven to twelve. Teens and adults aged thirteen and older can study Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while women’s self-defense offers practical training in a supportive setting without competition pressure. Family Kendo introduces Japanese swordsmanship to participants aged ten and older.

Han Mi provides recorded lesson topics through its app or member site, allowing students to review classes and prepare for tests. New students can attend a free first class followed by a ten-day trial; a loaner uniform is available. The school also offers free training through blue belt for first responders in its Adopt a Cop program.
