## Description

The American Hanoverian Society (AHS) is an organization serving the Hanoverian horse community in the United States. It supports breeders, owners, and enthusiasts through breed registration, breeding programs, inspections, education, and recognition of achievement. Members can access resources for joining or renewing membership, updating contact information, transferring ownership, recording imported horses, and registering foals or older horses. The Society also provides services related to mare inspections, stallion licensing, performance testing, DNA requests, and breed requirements for Hanoverians, Rhineland horses, and American Hanoverian Riding Ponies.

AHS organizes inspection tours and offers guidance on foal presentations, futurity enrollment, and competition horse applications. Its awards recognize breeders, foals, mares, stallions, and horses competing in disciplines including dressage and hunter-jumper sport. Educational resources include webinars, a podcast, and publications such as the Stallion Directory, Awards Magazine, and Der Hannoveraner. The Society also offers advertising opportunities, merchandise, member benefits, and information about scholarships. Through these services, AHS helps members participate in the registration, breeding, development, and promotion of sport horses.
