## Description

Haphead is an innovative eight-part neo-noir web series produced by Postopian Pictures that explores the intersection of gaming and reality. Set in a near-future world, the narrative follows Maxine, a factory worker struggling to make ends meet in an industry defined by a revolutionary new haptic peripheral enabling players to acquire real-life skills through immersive gameplay. As she seeks to elevate her life by stealing one of these devices, Maxine plunges into a rabbit-ninja game that tests her both physically and emotionally. The series highlights her journey as she connects with fellow hapheads, each possessing unique game-honed abilities. However, the excitement of new friendships is overshadowed by a looming threat, as not all hapheads share her goal of empowerment. With its gripping storyline and exploration of themes including ambition, identity, and peril, Haphead offers viewers a compelling look into a future where video games can change lives—both for better and worse.
