## Description

Hapkido Evolution Toulouse is a non-profit martial arts club founded in Toulouse in 2013 and based in Drémil-Lafage. The club teaches Hapkido, a Korean martial art with a strong focus on practical, measured self-defence. Its training covers strikes, joint locks, throws, holds and control techniques, as well as falling and rolling skills. Students can also learn about traditional weapons, including the danbong short stick, jipangi cane and pobak rope, and how to defend against weapons.

Classes are open to children and adults, with two adult sessions and one children’s session each week. Led by Master Julien Drouet and assistant instructors, lessons encourage practice with partners of different experience levels and belt ranks. Training aims to develop coordination, balance, flexibility, reflexes and awareness, while teaching students to respond proportionately rather than rely on aggression. The club welcomes prospective members throughout the year and offers one or two free trial sessions before registration.
