## Description

Happy Valley Fiddlers presents the Happy Valley Jamboree, a free, family-friendly weekend gathering in Lenoir, North Carolina, celebrating the region’s musical heritage. Held over Labor Day weekend, the jamboree brings together performers, musicians, and visitors for traditional music and community activities. The 2026 event is scheduled for September 4–6 at 3590 NC-268.

The weekend program includes Friday evening open mic performances, cakewalks, and storytelling at the Laura Foster grave. Saturday features a day of music, cow-calling, a parade, and an evening concert. On Sunday, visitors can join a morning Gospel Sing followed by a concert. The event also offers free onsite competition registration, which opens Friday night, and an opportunity for musicians to sign up for the open mic.

Camping is available for $25 for the weekend, with additional days costing $10. Admission is free, including for children, and the event shares updates through its website and Facebook page. Happy Valley Fiddlers welcomes audiences to enjoy live music, local traditions, and a relaxed weekend gathering.
