## Description

Higashiyama Artists Placement Service (HAPS) serves as a comprehensive support organization for both artists and those who champion the arts. Based in Kyoto, HAPS aims to create an environment where emerging artists can thrive through various initiatives focused on residence, production, presentation, and job coordination. Since its expansion in 2017, HAPS has been dedicated to fostering a society where individuals from diverse backgrounds can coexist harmoniously, leveraging the power of culture and the arts.

In addition to supporting artists, HAPS has taken significant steps in advocating for inclusive cultural initiatives, such as promoting art activities for individuals with disabilities through collaborations with public art institutions. Resources provided by HAPS include artist studios, job matching services, and community engagement projects, establishing a vibrant cultural ecosystem in Kyoto. HAPS's mission is to enhance societal richness and explore new possibilities through artistic expression, striving to allow both residents and artists to flourish within a collaborative community.
