## Description

Haras des Méaras is an equestrian centre in Naujan-et-Postiac, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Gironde, about 30 minutes from Bordeaux. Founded in 2012 by Philippe Sartran, the haras spans 47 hectares of former vineyard land, with woods, varied terrain and natural water sources providing a setting for horse care and breeding. Amandine Audebert joined as an associate in 2016, helping expand its services for horses recovering from illness or surgery.

The centre offers horse boarding, post-operative convalescence and rehabilitation, English Thoroughbred breeding, and support for foaling and foal development. Boarding options include boxes, adapted stabling and individual paddocks, with arrangements tailored to horses in work or at rest. The team provides personalised care, including follow-up from birth through early training for young Thoroughbreds. Haras des Méaras holds the Qualit’Équidés label and High Environmental Value (HVE) certification, both obtained in 2023, and joined the MAEC agro-environmental programme in 2024. Its facilities also include photovoltaic panels, reflecting its stated environmental commitments.
