## Description

Harka Association for Prosthetics is a nonprofit organization serving people with limb loss in the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. It views prosthetic support as a way to help people return to family, work, and community life, with greater independence and confidence. Its work aims to improve beneficiaries’ quality of life through healthcare, rehabilitation, training, awareness, and partnerships with public, private, health, and nonprofit organizations.

The association’s services include providing prosthetic limbs and assistive devices, physical and occupational therapy, psychological and social support, and vocational training. Its Jisour program helps people with limb loss access suitable prostheses and rehabilitation, while Nabd Al Hayat supports people who are deaf or hard of hearing with hearing devices, assistive technologies, and rehabilitation services. Intilaq promotes independence and self-reliance among people with disabilities, and Wa‘i offers health and rehabilitation awareness for beneficiaries, families, and the wider community. The association also provides specialist advice through its Mustasharak service, helping individuals and families make informed decisions about available care and support.
