# Harmonikafestival - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `harmonika-festival.dk` ## Description Ærø Harmonikafestival is a popular annual music festival held in Marstal on the island of Ærø in Denmark’s South Funen archipelago. Bringing together performers and audiences for a long weekend, the festival celebrates accordion music and a wide range of musical traditions. Its 31st edition took place in 2026, and the 32nd is scheduled for May 20–23, 2027. The programme features music from around the world, including Swedish songs by Evert Taube, Italian virtuoso compositions by Frosini, American musical theatre, rock, swing, and songs associated with Kim Larsen. Visitors can dance in the festival tent to Danish popular music and enjoy folk styles such as ganglåt and reinlender. Performances by soloists and groups also take place throughout the weekend at the sailing club, with entertainment intended for all age groups. Everyone is welcome, and admission is free for the entire weekend. Performing at the festival is also free.
