## Description

Harrier Conservation International (HCI) is a Dutch nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting harriers and other farmland birds while helping agriculture and nature thrive together. Its work is guided by the idea that birds show us the way: by studying birds and their habitats, HCI develops practical, science-based approaches to conserving biodiversity in agricultural landscapes.

The organization conducts and shares field research on harriers and other farmland birds, insects, migration, roosting sites, and cultivated landscapes. It also develops concepts and practical agricultural innovations, including BAM and clover undersowing, to support biodiversity on working farms. HCI brings together farmers, researchers, conservationists, and international partners, connecting a global network focused on research, conservation, and sustainable agriculture.

Through collaboration, knowledge sharing, publications, films, and podcasts, HCI communicates its findings and supports solutions that can be applied in practice. The organization invites supporters to contribute to its conservation work through donations. Based in Oosterbeek, the Netherlands, Harrier Conservation International works toward a future in which farming and nature reinforce one another.
