## Description

The Harrower Collection is an Australian online research library and membership site dedicated to preserving the history of the 9th Infantry Brigade of the Australian Imperial Force (AIF), particularly its service during the First World War. Its collection brings together medals, memorial plaques, awards, badges, documents and family and military histories relating to the 33rd, 34th, 35th and 36th Battalions. The online database supports family historians, military researchers, authors and anyone interested in the men who served, with battalion histories and nominal rolls, casualty information, and research on topics including chaplains, Aboriginal servicemen, commanders and AIF sports. It also provides links to archival and memorial resources, such as the Australian War Memorial and Commonwealth War Graves Commission, alongside information about pre-war New South Wales infantry units. The collection is displayed at Swansea RSL Club in New South Wales and is supported by family contributions and donations. Curator David John Harrower also assists with individual family and military research projects.
