## Description

Welcome to the official homepage of the Harry Bertoia Foundation! Harry Bertoia, a metal worker ahead of his time, was a prolific artist who created a wide range of works. His jewelry is like wearable sculpture, his monotypes offer a glimpse into the universe, and his chairs are both sensual and sculptural. From delicate wire work to massive architectural commissions, Bertoia's creations showcase his delicate finesse and superhuman strength. He is famously known for designing the iconic Diamond chair and crafting over 50 public sculptures. Additionally, he created the mesmerizing Sonambient sounding sculptures. Bertoia's art reflects his belief in the power of the great Oneness, which is why he preferred not to title his pieces. The impact of his work speaks for itself.
