## Description

Hartmanns Pferdepension is a family-run horse boarding farm in Jenaz, in Switzerland’s Graubünden region. Led by Peter and Regula Hartmann, the business is in its third generation and also raises young cattle. The farm is managed according to organic guidelines, producing its own feed across approximately 32 hectares of agricultural land.

The pension offers accommodation for horses in a group-run open stable or individual night boxes, including care options for older horses seeking a suitable later-life home. Horses benefit from social contact, daily care and feeding with hay from the farm, while straw and mineral salt are freely available. In summer, horses spend time on an alpine pasture in groups matched to their needs. Services include feeding, bedding, routine deworming and vaccinations, and barefoot hoof care; veterinary treatment and supplementary feed are charged separately.

The farm’s facilities include a solarium, an inclined treadmill, a round pen, a tack room, laundry and drying space, and a riders’ lounge. A riding arena is under construction.
