Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard is a family-owned and operated apple orchard located in North Salem, NY. As our main harvest, we offer a wide variety of crisp, delicious apples. In addition to apples, we also grow a range of vegetables and stone fruits, which are available for purchase in our Farm Store and through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.

Our primary goal is to provide our community with the freshest and highest quality foods possible. We source most of our products from our own Farm and other local Hudson-Valley farmers. Our store is stocked with farm-raised meats, including chicken, duck, lamb, pork, 100% grass-fed beef, and pasture-raised turkeys.

We are more than just a farm, though. We also produce our own Hardscrabble Cider and offer a selection of farm fresh free-range eggs, honey, dairy cheese, maple syrup, and other country store items. Indulge in our famous apple cider donuts made fresh every day, or enjoy mouth-watering dishes from our kitchen made from ingredients grown right on the farm.

At Harvest Moon, we believe in creating a fun, family-oriented, and upbeat atmosphere for all to enjoy. In addition to our delicious products, we also offer special events throughout the year, such as our annual Easter Egg Hunt, Hardscrabble Cider Live Music and Pizza nights, Pick-Your-Own events, and our beloved Apple Picking weekends in September and October. We take pride in our environmentally conscious farming practices.

Our vegetables are grown using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) techniques, utilizing organic fertilizers and pest controls whenever possible. We plant and harvest all of our vegetables and fruit by hand. While we do spray our apple trees to protect them from pests and diseases, we use the most environmentally friendly sprays available to minimize our impact on the environment.
