## Description

Hathora is a brand that brings their expertise in infrastructure and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to the gaming world. With a team of dedicated experts, they aim to provide game developers with the platform they need for successful game development. The founders of Hathora, Harsh and Sid, studied Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon and gained extensive industry experience at top SaaS companies like Palantir and Databricks. They noticed that the gaming industry lacked modern server infrastructure, which inspired them to create Hathora. Their journey began with the development of a multiplayer game in March 2020, which led to the realization that the game development process could be made much easier. They launched Hathora Builder, an opinionated framework for real-time games, in February 2022, and it quickly gained popularity among the indie community. Hathora continued to expand their offerings, incorporating in April 2022 and launching Hathora Cloud, a modern hosting platform for game servers, in July 2022. They achieved a significant milestone in August 2022 when the first customer-built game was successfully deployed on their platform. In March 2023, Hathora secured a $7.6M seed round of funding from Upfront Ventures and Founders Fund, further cementing their commitment to providing innovative solutions for game developers. The Hathora team is dedicated to inventing and simplifying, constantly seeking new ideas for innovation while ensuring the simplest experience possible. They prioritize customer satisfaction by paying attention to their needs and delivering fast, practical solutions. The brand is focused on earning trust by celebrating their strengths, being honest about areas for improvement, and benchmarking against the best in the industry. Hathora is located at 159 W 25th St #404, New York, NY 10001. Connect with them at contact@hathora.dev.
