## Description

Haus Niedersachsen is a nonprofit specialist provider of rehabilitation and supported living for adults affected by alcohol or medication dependence. Founded nearly 50 years ago, the organisation supports women and men aged 18 and over who want to build an abstinent life. Its approach is personal and respectful, combining established practice with current medical and scientific knowledge.

The organisation operates three facilities in Lower Saxony. Fachklinik Oerrel provides a 13-week residential rehabilitation programme focused on sustained abstinence, improved health and returning to work. Adaption Hambühren offers a further programme of up to 13 weeks after clinic-based treatment, helping residents strengthen their therapy goals and social networks while developing vocational plans. Wohnheim Emmen provides temporary supported accommodation, structured daily routines and individual support to build skills and progress towards fuller participation in social and working life.

Services include individual and group therapy, medical care, social counselling and support with debt, training and vocational readiness. With residents’ consent, family, partners and employers may also be involved.
