## Description

HAUS HOPPE is a fine art gallery on Germany’s Baltic coast, presenting paintings and multi-coloured woodcuts by artist Olaf Hoppe. Housed in an old farmhouse that Hoppe and his wife acquired and converted into a gallery and workshop, the space offers around 400 square metres for visitors to view and purchase works. The gallery provides guided tours introducing visitors to Hoppe’s artistic body of work, with opportunities to ask about technique, composition, art and art history. Hoppe studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee from 1980 to 1985 and has developed a distinctive practice in painting and woodcut. His recent work includes “Atlantis 4” (Element Fire), a 2026 colour woodcut made using ten woodblocks over ten months, and the concluding piece in his Atlantis cycle. HAUS HOPPE also shares videos and information about the artist’s life and work online. The gallery invites art enthusiasts to discover Hoppe’s carefully crafted prints and paintings in a welcoming coastal setting.
