Based in Providence, they are committed to ending homelessness among transition-aged youth by providing safe housing and workforce development opportunities. Their mission is to create a safer and more accessible means to housing, care, and essential services for displaced youth.

Haus of Codec believes in the power of genuine connections and reciprocal relationships. They strive to bring people from different backgrounds and perspectives together, nurturing a spirit of volunteerism and welcoming those who use their skills and knowledge to build community with them. With a strong emphasis on freedom of expression, they encourage individuals to explore and nurture their creativity and share their unique artistic voice.

In addition, Haus of Codec is dedicated to racial justice and ensuring that Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) are centered in their work. They actively challenge privilege and strive for transparency and accountability. Through their residential programs, they provide a safe housing space and essential services for youth ages 18-24, helping them find their own permanent housing solutions and opportunities for workforce development.

Haus of Codec also hosts monthly community LGBTQQIA+ Resource Fairs and ART Marketplaces, providing a platform for queer and BIPOC artists and local community organizations. These events include clothing swaps and opportunities for recycling and sustainability. Their team, led by Executive Director Julio E.
