# Haut-Brion - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `haut-brion.com` - **Location:** Pessac, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France ## Description Château Haut-Brion is a historic wine estate in Pessac, near Bordeaux, within the Pessac-Léognan appellation in the Graves wine region. Its vineyards trace their origins to the first century AD, and in 1521 the estate became the first Bordeaux property to identify its wine by the name of its terroir. It is also the only estate outside the Médoc included among the Premier Grand Cru Classé properties in the 1855 classification. The estate produces wines shaped by its distinctive gravel-based terroir, combining centuries-old expertise and respect for tradition with an innovative outlook. Its stated ambition is to express the finest qualities of this exceptional site through its wines. Visitors can explore the estate’s history, vineyards, winemaking approach, wine collections and experiences through the brand’s website. Château Haut-Brion also maintains a substantial library of rare books, manuscripts and historical documents, recently expanded by the acquisition of Sean Thackrey’s collection. Together, its wines, heritage and cultural resources make the estate a notable part of Bordeaux’s wine tradition. ## Industries - 🍔 Food and Drink _(under Food and Drink)_ - 🍔 Food and Drink ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ChateauHautBrion) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/chateauhautbrion_) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/château-haut-brion) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — SVG, PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idUipy7Xj3/theme/dark/logo.svg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791909338603) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idUipy7Xj3/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791909338711) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | White | #ffffff | light | | Tuatara | #2f2e2a | dark | | Teak | #ae9962 | accent | ## Fonts - var(--body-font) — asset _(custom)_ - var(--title-font) — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
