Søspejdergruppen Havets Helte | Copenhagen is a brand that offers an exciting and immersive outdoor experience for junior and troop scouts. With their unique program called Eat Out, scouts have the opportunity to enjoy meals cooked over an open fire once a month for an entire year. Each meal consists of a main course with at least two different elements, all prepared on the fire, such as a hearty stew and rice.

The 12 meals are required to be diverse and cooked solely on an open fire, not on camping stoves. As part of the program, participants gather at various locations within reasonable distance from Sluseholmen, often accessible by bicycle. Havets Helte provides firewood, cooking pots, and ingredients, while attendees bring their own filled water bottles and utensils.

Sometimes the group prepares dinner, other times brunch, and even tries sleeping in shelters in the cold. The meetings typically last for three hours, allowing time to build a fire, cook meals, and enjoy the camaraderie. The program offers a variety of dates and locations for 2022 and 2023, including brunches, dinners, and even a New Year's shelter trip.

Registration is done on a per-event basis, with reminders sent on Facebook a week before each gathering. To secure a spot, a small fee ranging from 25kr to 75kr is required, depending on the event. The organizers are excited to welcome all participants and look forward to sharing delicious meals and memorable experiences around the campfire.
