## Description

Hawthorn Farm is a certified organic seed producer located in Central Ontario, specializing in a diverse range of open-pollinated vegetable, herb, and flower seeds. Established in 1996 and certified by Pro-Cert, the farm has grown from humble beginnings with a single-page catalog to offering hundreds of high-quality seed varieties. Their extensive product line includes an array of vegetables such as beans, carrots, and tomatoes, as well as numerous herbs and vibrant flowers, all cultivated using sustainable practices that enrich the soil and promote biodiversity.

Passionate about organic agriculture, Hawthorn Farm not only produces and distributes seeds but also fosters community engagement through workshops and educational tours. They emphasize the importance of preserving agricultural genetic diversity and access to healthy food, advocating for equal agricultural rights and environmental stewardship. By collaborating with Canadian seed growers, they ensure a robust seed supply tailored for local conditions, reinforcing their commitment to building a resilient food system rooted in community values.
