## Description

HAX is a renowned brand and the world's first program dedicated to pre-seed startups that tackle complex issues with cutting-edge technology. They specialize in what they call Hard Tech, which encompasses scientific and engineering breakthroughs in the physical world. HAX focuses on startups in sectors like climate, industrial automation, and human health, all with a strong sustainability focus. With their Newark facility as the flagship location, complemented by offices in Shenzhen, San Francisco, Pune, and Tokyo, HAX offers a 6-month collaborative residency and an initial investment package of $250,000. Their program is designed to provide founders with hands-on engineering support and guidance on navigating and tapping into premier ecosystems for product development, manufacturing, and fundraising. Since its inception in 2012, HAX has nurtured over 250 startups, enabling them to raise nearly $2 billion in funding and amass a cumulative value of $8 billion. They have a global community of engineers, designers, and entrepreneurs, offering access to a vast network of manufacturers, experts, and investors dedicated to hard tech. Joining HAX means joining a thriving ecosystem that empowers startups to address the world's biggest challenges through innovation and capital.
