Hayat Clinic is a nonprofit community health center serving underprivileged and uninsured communities on Chicago’s North Side, particularly in West Ridge and Rogers Park. Established in 2003 as a community-based initiative and project of the Lincolnwood Lions Club, it provides essential medical and eye care, with consultations offered free of charge. Patients are welcome regardless of insurance status, and services are available to people of all ages. Care includes primary care, management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes, vaccinations, medical consultations, eye screenings, laboratory services, and surgical consultations. Since opening, the clinic reports nearly 40,000 patient visits and has been supported by more than 30 physicians and volunteers. Its mission is to make quality healthcare accessible to people who might otherwise face barriers to care. Hayat Clinic depends on donations and community support to sustain its services. The clinic is located at 6350 N Maplewood Avenue in Chicago and is open during evening hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
