# Hazels - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `hazels.io` ## Description Hazels is a story-led creative brand built around The Eighth Rise, a narrative of eight girls who turn discipline, shared knowledge, and defiance into a movement. Set in Tokyo, the story begins when the girls form a community called Hazels and ask why they should not teach one another when no one has taught them. Its chapters follow their growth through a quiet room, Azura Jujutsu, a spreading poem, an awakening, and the people who carry its message onward. At the heart of the story are eight characters, each associated with a line of the poem and a field such as money, code, law, art, body, voice, trade, or memory. The poem travels across cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Manila, Istanbul, Paris, and New York, inviting audiences to take part as carriers. Hazels presents its work through an interactive online experience, chapter-based storytelling, downloadable materials, and community channels including X and Discord.
