## Description

The National HBCU Alumni Alliance is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to strengthening historically Black colleges and universities and the communities they serve. It connects HBCU alumni, creates opportunities for students, and brings together partners and communities around a shared commitment to HBCUs. Its work centers on alumni support, student enrichment, and community engagement.

For alumni, the Alliance fosters connections through networks, resources, partnerships, and opportunities to stay involved. Students and families can use its online resources to explore HBCUs, view an HBCU map, and find scholarship opportunities. Featured scholarships include awards for high school, college, and graduate students, with options based on achievement, merit, or monthly drawings.

The organization also invites people to volunteer, support student success through donations, and connect alumni chapters, organizations, and institutions with its growing network. Through these programs and partnerships, the Alliance aims to extend the impact of HBCUs nationwide. Its affiliated groups include communities in Atlanta, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia, and it shares information and updates through its social media channels.
