## Description

HBK AB, formally Härlanda Byggteknik Konstruktion AB, is an employee-owned structural engineering consultancy founded in 2014 and based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company provides technical and construction engineering services with a customer-focused approach, supporting projects from early planning through design and production. Its work covers new construction, renovations and extensions for residential, office, commercial, industrial, logistics and public buildings.

HBK’s services include structural design and BIM coordination using Revit, Tekla and AutoCAD, as well as Tekla modelling and detailed design for prefabricated steel structures. The team prepares manufacturing and installation drawings and uses digital models for clash detection and project optimisation. Engineering calculations range from early quantity estimates and structural-system assessments to strength, stability, foundation and finite-element analyses.

The company also provides certified shelter consultancy, including inspections, controls and design for new or existing civil defence shelters. Its control-responsibility services help projects comply with Swedish planning and building legislation, including control plans and technical consultations.
