## Description

Hobsons Bay Yacht Club (HBYC) is a community-focused sailing club on the waterfront in Williamstown, Victoria. Serving the local community since 1888, the Club combines a long maritime heritage with an inclusive, forward-looking approach. It welcomes people of different ages, backgrounds and abilities to take part in sailing, build connections and enjoy the waterfront.

HBYC offers keelboat racing, cruising, recreational sailing and learn-to-sail programs, alongside youth sailing opportunities and a non-member Sail Pass. Members can access racing information, results, sailing resources and crew connections. The Club also supports community participation through social nights, live music and other events, and its facilities are available for private functions.

Grounded in volunteerism, sportsmanship and mutual respect, HBYC aims to grow participation and strengthen ties across Hobsons Bay. The Club also highlights sustainable operations, member engagement and community partnerships as part of its ongoing commitment to remaining an accessible destination for sailors and the wider community.
