## Description

The Healthcare Career Advancement Foundation (HCAF) is a registered nonprofit focused on expanding access to healthcare education and strengthening the healthcare workforce. Its mission is to remove financial and systemic barriers through scholarships, training, and mentorship, helping prepare future professionals and improve care across the continuum.

HCAF provides nursing student scholarships and other healthcare education funding for people pursuing careers including certified nursing assistant (CNA), licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN), advanced practice nursing, respiratory therapy, and physician assistant (PA), as well as other eligible healthcare provider pathways. The foundation also supports healthcare workers through scholarships and educational opportunities.

Beyond financial assistance, HCAF offers mentorship sessions that help students manage the demands of school, work, and everyday life. It collaborates with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and community organizations to broaden access and create career opportunities. Students can apply through the website during open application periods, while donors and sponsors can contribute to its programs. HCAF is based in Nashville, Tennessee, and welcomes inquiries from prospective applicants, partners, and supporters.
