## Description

HCEMobile is an unofficial fan project that brings Halo: Combat Evolved to mobile devices and computers through a browser-based experience. Owned and operated by Trevor, it is built from the game’s decompilation and requires players to provide their own Xbox disc image; no game data is included or uploaded. Users can install the site as an app for full-screen play, offline access and saved games, with support for iPhone, iPad, Android and computers.

The service offers the complete campaign and multiplayer, along with ranked matchmaking, custom-game lobbies, friends lists, clans, invitations and chat. Players can use touch controls, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro, MFi or Backbone controllers, or a keyboard and mouse. Local options include split-screen for up to four players and System Link, while remote co-op lets a host stream a second player’s view to a friend. Additional features include multiple game copies with separate saves, export and restore tools, display-resolution settings and online play across devices. A free account enables online features such as gamertags, matchmaking and social tools.
