Hunterdon Drug Awareness Program (HDAP) is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the Hunterdon County, NJ community. As a 501(c)(3) organization, HDAP offers a range of services to individuals and families struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Their services include confidential individual, group, and family counseling for outpatient drug and alcohol treatment.

For those requiring a higher level of care, HDAP provides Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) with 9 hours of counseling per week. HDAP also conducts substance abuse evaluations and offers early intervention programming for youth at high risk of drug and alcohol misuse. Additionally, they develop tailored prevention and education programs for employers, schools, individuals, and families.

As the Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) for Hunterdon County, HDAP plays a crucial role in assisting intoxicated drivers. Their mission is rooted in science-based approaches to substance abuse treatment and prevention, aiming to create positive outcomes in the lives of the community, at-risk students, clients, and their families.
