## Description

The Healing Tree is a renowned brand located in the heart of Del Ray, specializing in therapeutic massage and various healing modalities. Established in 2002 by Maryellen Thorp, LMT, The Healing Tree started with one treatment room and two practitioners offering massage and acupuncture. Over the years, our practice has grown to include nine practitioners who provide therapeutic massage, chiropractic care, and acupuncture, catering to the growing needs of Del Ray. The name The Healing Tree represents the holistic approach we take towards healing, with the roots symbolizing the foundation of the individual, the trunk representing the physical form, the branches signifying the stages and stresses of life, and the leaves symbolizing the healing process. Our practitioners are highly skilled and fully certified and licensed, ensuring top-quality care for our clients. At The Healing Tree, we value our clients' time and offer appointments seven days a week. Our peaceful waiting room provides a relaxing ambiance before and after your appointment. We kindly request a 24-hour notice for massage and chiropractic appointments, and 48 hours for acupuncture appointments, should you need to reschedule. To learn more about our services, make an appointment, or inquire about our policies, please contact us at 703-706-9500, email us at therapy@healingtr.com, or visit our website.
