## Description

Healome Therapeutics is a healthcare company based in Birmingham, UK, specializing in developing innovative treatments for restoring function in diseased and damaged tissues. With a current focus on ocular surface diseases (OSDs), they aim to address some of the most challenging conditions driven by biological, chemical, and physical factors or presenting therapeutic delivery and retention difficulties. OSDs encompass a range of conditions affecting the cornea, conjunctiva, eye lid margins, tear film production glands, and eye lashes. Due to their cyclic nature, OSDs like Dry Eye Disease are notoriously difficult to treat and can impact daily activities and overall well-being. Healome Therapeutics offers a novel approach using an ocular surface bandage that acts as both a drug-retaining protective barrier and an easy-to-apply eye drop. Their therapies are customizable, incorporating various medicinal components, and have shown excellent safety and stability. Currently, they are entering phase 1 human trials, aiming to revolutionize OSD treatments through partnerships and innovative solutions. For healthcare companies, investors, and patient advocacy groups interested in partnering, Healome Therapeutics welcomes collaborative opportunities.
