Health Action New Mexico (HANM) is a brand dedicated to empowering consumers in building healthy communities and securing better healthcare for their families. Since its establishment in 1995, HANM has served as a valuable resource for cutting-edge research, the latest reform developments, training and education, and policy solutions for quality healthcare access. However, various challenges persist in accessing quality healthcare in New Mexico, with almost half of the state's population lacking health insurance or being significantly underinsured.

Additionally, New Mexico's high poverty levels and rural landscape further limit healthcare services in many areas. To address these issues, HANM collaborates with local organizations, faith-based entities, civic groups, businesses, and community advocates statewide to bring about meaningful change.
