## Description

Health Care for All! is a brand dedicated to providing quality and affordable health care coverage to all residents of Maryland. Established in 1999 by the Maryland Citizens’ Health Initiative Education Fund, Inc., our coalition consists of numerous faith, business, labor, professional, and community groups across the state. Our mission is to advocate for the Health Care for All! Plan, ensuring that every Marylander has access to the health care they need. Through our efforts, the uninsured population in Maryland has been reduced from 15% at the time of our founding to just 6% in 2022. We are proud of this progress and continue to work towards our goal of providing quality and affordable health care for everyone. Some of our past victories include record enrollment in the Maryland Health Connection, with 182,000 Marylanders enrolling in health coverage during the 2021-2022 open enrollment period. We have also made strides in reducing disparities in access to coverage, particularly in Black and Brown communities, through initiatives like the Healthy Babies Equity Act.
