To tackle this problem, our intervention focuses on feed fortification, specifically supplementing their diet with calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D. By doing so, we aim to reduce their suffering and enhance their overall health. Animal feed fortification is crucial because it addresses the nutritional deficiencies that arise from selective breeding for increased egg production.

By adding a premix of optimal levels of nutrients to their regular feed, we can mitigate the depletion of essential vitamins and minerals, thereby improving their well-being.
