Healthy Communities of La Porte County is a dedicated organization that collaborates with local, state, and national partners to address essential health needs in La Porte County. With over 25 years of experience, we have transformed a $25,000 designation into millions of dollars, providing health-related services across the county. As the only Healthy Communities organization in Northwest Indiana and one of the few in the entire state, we are committed to making La Porte County a healthier place.

Our initiatives include tobacco prevention and cessation programs, as well as efforts to ensure the well-being of kids and families. Through our Health Coalition and Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Coalition, we bring together healthcare providers, social services, wellness organizations, and employers to create a healthier community. Our mission is to promote the health and well-being of NWI residents through collaboration, education, advocacy, and policy development.
